Abstract : analysing the geologic background of interlayer oxidation zone in the north of junggar basin from the aspects of basin structure , the structural feature and lithofacies and lithologic conditions of the sedimentary cover , as well as the regional hydrogeology and reducing medium of the sedimentary cover , this paper suggests that the study area possesses abundant uranium source and the stratigraphic combination favourable for the development of interlayer oxidation zone
